Episode 18 of the Airway First podcast is now out! You can catch it on SoundCloud, Podbean, Anchor, Spotify, or wherever you listen to your favorite podcasts.
My guest today is Brittany Bailey, a Certified Myofunctional Therapist. Brittany found a passion for Myofunctional Therapy initially as a patient seeking care for dental crowding and severe clenching. After going through the process and seeing the positive changes it made in her smile, confidence, and breathing, Brittany decided to pursue a career in Myofunctional Therapies to further the education and awareness for others.
Brittany received her Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences with a Minor in Nutrition. Furthering her education, she completed her Master's in Breathing Sciences as well as certification training in Myofunctional Therapies from the Professional School of Behavioral Health Sciences.

We all have beliefs that we hold on to about breathing. ~ Brittany Bailey
When you have a child in myofunctional therapy, remember:
It takes time and patients
Talk about breathing with your child --- ask how they are doing and open the conversation
It's okay and you're doing great!
